The 12 Weeks Gym and Personal Fitness Trainer Course conducted by the Institute for Sports and Fitness Development (ISFD) is a comprehensive training program designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to excel as professional fitness trainers. The course is affiliated with the National Board of Fitness Examiners (NBFE) and the International Association of Therapists (IAOTH), which ensures that the program meets the highest industry standards.
The course is divided into three modules, with each module focusing on different aspects of fitness training. The first module covers the fundamentals of fitness, including anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and exercise science. Students will learn about the human body and how it responds to exercise, as well as the role of nutrition in achieving optimal fitness.
The second module of the course focuses on the practical aspects of fitness training, including weight training, cardiorespiratory training, and functional training. Students will learn about the different types of equipment used in a gym, as well as how to design and implement effective training programs for clients of all fitness levels.
The final module of the course focuses on the business and management aspects of running a successful fitness training business. Students will learn about marketing, client retention, and financial management, as well as the legal and ethical considerations involved in operating a fitness training business.
Throughout the course, students will have access to experienced instructors who will provide guidance and support. The course includes both theoretical and practical components, with students required to complete a certain number of hours of supervised practical training to graduate. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the certification exam administered by the NBFE, which will enable them to become certified gym and personal fitness trainers.
